About Perpetual Motion Painting
Perpetual Motion Painting has
been in business since 1992, as a woman-owned
and operated interior
and exterior painting
company. We hire experienced
professionals in order
to provide our clients
with top quality painting
service. We have been
a member of the Marin
Builder's Exchange
since 1992.
After
six years in the U.S.
Army working as a
psychiatric technician,
Tammy returned to
San Francisco and
began her painting
career. She started
by working for Krueger
Brothers Construction
Company as their
first female painter,
and then moved on
to another Bay Area
painting company doing
San Francisco's finest
Victorians. She then
joined Bay Builders
Construction Company
in Marin County running
crews and supervising
subcontractors. In
1992, Tammy obtained
her C-33 painting license
and founded Perpetual Motion Painting, Inc.
It quickly
became evident that
in a competitive field
a woman's touch would
be a great selling
point, and that level
of quality has proven
to be key. Tammy remains
active in the field
by supervising and
teaching her crews.
You may run into her in Novato walking her dogs or at Gold's Gym in Larkspur. She is also active in women's softball and sponsors (and plays on) a San Francisco league team.
